Loads of people have DJing aspirations at some level, whether its to play a few tunes at their mates parties or to headline at Space and be the next tiesto. This is aimed somewhere in between at the jobing DJ that earns some or all of their wages from playing recorded music.

The Blog will assume that you earn money from DJing and therefore its a job which like any other job is not a bit of a laugh with your mates, you are not going to be using it as an excuse to get free drinks or chat up talent.

 

A Reference Blog highlighting experiences and recommendations based on nearly 40 years of DJing as Resident, Headliner , guest and jobing DJ as well as a system designer, installer and programmer.

This will continue to be a work in progress probably till i die. i will invite other professional DJs to contribute  occasionally with input from some audio professionals.
